Purchasing from C. Madeleine’s

Placing an order with C Madeleines.com means you have read and are agreeing to all of these stated terms and conditions. Because of our size and volume, we must strictly adhere to these policies.

Should you have any questions prior to making your selections, please contact us and we reply usually within 48 hours. Once a purchase is made, we will process your order and send a shipping confirmation notice, normally within 24 hours. Prices are non-negotiable.

Please refer to our Sizing and Item Condition guides prior to purchase.

C. Madeleine’s uses a secure server for all credit card transactions and this information will be kept private. We also accept wire transfer and checks (not on initial orders and subsequent checks will be subject to clearance). ALL funds must be received within five (5) days of order confirmation. All accessories, jewelry and handbags are final sale with no returns accepted.



C. Madeleine's sells only 100% authentic items.



Free shipping on all domestic orders over $200 (before tax), for all orders below $200, a $15 flat shipping fee applies. On all international orders a $60 flat fee applies. Orders are shipped at the sole risk of the Buyer. Shipping insurance is required and is included in the shipping fee. Return shipping is responsibility of the Buyer. A handling charge is never added unless you request some type of special handling. Most packages will be shipped USPS Priority Mail. Delivery confirmation is required. We will gladly ship FedEx, UPS, DHL or other carrier so long as you supply an account number for billing and they pickup at our location. International orders are gladly accepted with Buyer responsible for any duties.   


All purchases sent within the State of Florida are subject to 7% Florida sales tax unless customer has a valid exemption certificate.



Accessories, handbags, jewelry are not returnable. Garment returns will be accepted only with C. Madeleine's prior approval, for store credit only, less shipping. When you receive your items, please inspect them and make sure they meet your expectations. Please notify us by email (MUST BE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIPT OF YOUR PACKAGE) if you wish to request approval for return of the merchandise and the specific reason for return. Returns must first be approved by C. Madeleine's via email. Returns received without prior written approval from C. Madeleine's via email will be refused. Sales receipt, documentation regarding the sale, and the return approval email documentation from C. Madeleine's must be included in the return package. We specify item condition of each item and provide verified measurements of each item in our webstore, therefore these are not valid reasons for return. Return items must be in the exact condition as sent with all hang tags attached and received within seven (7) days of the original shipping date. The condition and acceptance of the returned merchandise will be determined at the sole discretion of C. Madeleine’s. We inspect, photograph items and document item condition before shipping. C. Madeleine's will issue a store credit code via email. Store credit must be used within one (1) year of the date of issue upon C. Madeleine's receipt and acceptance of returned merchandise. To redeem store credit for online items at www.cmadeleines.com, you may contact us to make your selections and shipping arrangements, or store credit codes and account credits may also be applied at checkout to future orders. The Buyer is responsible for any return postage. shipping, insurance, and any applicable taxes must be covered in the store credit amount or paid separately. Shipping charges are not refundable. On the condition that Free Shipping was offered on the purchase and a return is requested, the store will credit amount received and will deduct the original shipping costs. No returns on international orders.


Gift certificates are available online and are the perfect gift for your friends who love vintage but are hard to choose for. The cards can be sent to either you or the recipient. Minimum is $50.00


Vintage: Classically well-made, embodying the high end vintage style of a past era, representative of the best.  Vintage clothing has been pre-owned or previously worn, and may have typical vintage characteristics from care, time and being worn. Look for items classified as Mint Condition if looking for a near perfect piece. Most of our pieces are classified as Near Mint Condition, see C. Madeleine's item condition classifications.


What information do we collect? We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, enter a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in another site feature. When ordering or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously. We also collect information about gift recipients so that we can fulfill the gift purchase. The information we collect about gift recipients is not used for marketing purposes. Like many websites, we use "cookies" to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Please refer to the "Do we use 'cookies'?" section below for information about cookies and how we use them. How do we use your information? We may use the information we collect from you when you register, purchase products, enter a contest or promotion, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways: To personalize your site experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested. To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests. To quickly process your transactions. To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature. If you would no longer like to receive promotional e-mail from us, please refer to the "How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?" section below. If you have not opted-in to receive e-mail newsletters, you will not receive these e-mails. Visitors who register or participate in other site features such as marketing programs and 'members-only' content will be given a choice whether they would like to be on our e-mail list and receive e-mail communications from us. How do we protect visitor information?We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term "outside parties" does not include our business. It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.


How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us? 

To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the "My Account" section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production. To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the "My Account" section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping. Third party links In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work). Changes to our policy If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page. Policy changes will apply only to information collected after the date of the change. Contact us ATTN: CONSIGNMENT with details about the items you have available. This can be one piece or a whole collection or estate. Madeleine will travel thousands of miles each year to secure items for our wonderful clientele and she would love to feature your best items in our store.


Layaways may be accepted on certain items at C. Madeleine's discretion. Minimum order $200. A thirty percent (30%) deposit is required to hold items and no returns are accepted. If the item is not paid for in full in a timely manner based on our layaway payment schedule within the designated layaway period (30 days for orders up to $1000, 60 days on orders over $1000) your deposit will be forfeited and the item will again be made available for sale. Layaway payments are applied only to the items specified for layaway when the initial deposit is made and are non-transferable to other items. Layaway is non-refundable and no store credits will be issued. Additional items cannot be added to a layaway order. Layaway correspondence must be conducted via email. Promotions, coupons, discounts, and store credits cannot be applied to layaway.
