Like sand through the hourglass, this Thierry Mugler skirt suit from the 1990s is of a smooth cotton taupe and perfectly tailored for the curves of a womanly figure. A sandy taupe color encases the structural bodice and length of the wide sleeves. Showing the mastery of an architectural genius, curvy vertical seams snake down the bodice to create a cinched-in waist and shapely hips. A gold and tan cotton weave envelopes the suit jacket around the lapel-less horseshoe neckline and stand collar, and finishes at a point in the three-quarter length sleeves. Securing the jacket front, a row of hidden silver snaps run down the center front. The matching high-waist, form-fitting skirt is of the same material and is darted for an immaculate fit. There is a side seam zipper and small slit on the center back hem.
